BSoD fix - Interesting yet useful program (its actually a simple batch file that requires the Win9x CD to function) said to be able to reduce or eliminate VMM related BSoD's. Cacheman - This program refines and manages your systems v-cache and eliminates most of the jerking and skipping which may be present on your machine. Experiment with the predefined settings until you get optimal performance for your machine. (496 KB)

ICQ Rescue 2000 - If you find yourself having huge contact lists, but lose them all due to system failure, the effects can be annoying to say the least. This program will back up your contacts, UIN, logs, and links and will also automate the process of restoring them should the need arise. PS2 Rate Plus - If you use a serial mouse, this software is nigh on essential. It allows you to adjust the standard windows mouse sampling rate of 40Hz up to a super smooth 200Hz! Rain - Program designed to cool the CPU by sending halt commands during none-program use. It basicaly put the lowest priority on the CPU when it is not needed. Very efficent and proven to work effectively. (123KB)

TCP/IP Windows Patch - If you play online and suddenly time out every 10-20 minutes of gameplay nomatter what server you are on, then this patch could fix the problem entirely.
