Through looking at the many guides to optimal BIOS settings around the web, as well
as by personal experience, these are the settings I find work best for me: Video BIOS Shadow = DISABLED Video BIOS Cacheable = DISABLED xxxxx - xxxxx Shadow = ALL DISABLED PCI/VGA Palette Snoop = DISABLED AGP Aperture Size = 4 CPU to PCI Write Buffer = ENABLED Delayed Transaction = ENABLED Passive Release = ENABLED Spread Spectrum = DISABLED System BIOS Cacheable = DISABLED Video RAM Cacheable = DISABLED External Cache = ENABLED VGA Frame Buffer = ENABLED VGA Data Merge = ENABLED ALWAYS write down your original settings BEFORE you change them just in case you have any problems with these particular settings. Remember, not all these settings may be available in your particular BIOS. You can download a program called "Tweak BIOS" which allows you to modify all these options and more. Get it from Here. |
