Welcome Back
Site News | 09/07/01 | 16:40 GMT - Brisk

The TweakArena is back, and we have a new host! Thanks to EFA and GP Hosting for the domain, and hosting respectively.

I will get round to updating certain sections within the coming days, and since this is a new host, there may be broken links that need fixing. I will scour the site to make sure everythubg works as it should do, and get everything running back to normal as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience, and enjoy the site.

Minor Updates
Site News | 10/04/01 | 16:11 GMT - Brisk

Unfortunately, it seems that all the files on EFA's website have now been deleted... this meant that some of my links needed to be changed to his new address (the drivers section mainly) but also some of the programs he shared with my website. I have sorted all such links, but if you spot any broken then please send me an email. Link above.

Also, the small flash file he had on his server has been deleted too... this was why the page failed to load completely yesterday. I have now removed the movie off every page.

Speaking of Flash, you may have noticed I have removed the main movie from the index page.... this was due to some confusion as to when the movie finished (you clicked the link and the page simply refreshed instead of sending you to this page). I have replaced it with an Image link. This may or may not be permenent depending on whether Destroyer finishes the new animation he is working on. I've seen a beta version of said flash, and it looks awesome....

Long Time No Updates!

Just News | 09/04/01 | 18:01 GMT - Brisk

Sorry for the lack of updates, i've been extremely busy as of late. Important news in regards to EFA11's website in that his new address is
http://www.3dchipset.com/ - he is actually no longer a part of the Ammoburners network due to internal problems, but many of the files he uploaded are still on the server. Unfortunately, some of the larger files he uploaded for me have had to be taken down, this will mean broken links until I either get time to fix them, or remove them completely.... sorry for the inconvienience :(

Deans website at
http://www.3dxtreme.org is going as strong as ever, go there for up to the minute gaming and hardware news.

As for the Q3TA, things in the Quake 3 scene have been rather slow as of late. The release of
RA3 1.5 was positive (although many Mac owners are having problems), theres still no official final patch, thus its hard to add new content to this website. I do recommend you join the Q3W forums if you have yet to do so, the address is http://www.quake3world.com/forums.

Also great is that we now have in access of 20,000 hits! Thanks to everyone for dropping by, and I hope this website has proved useful to you!

Thats it for now, more news when it happens ;)

Doom Video
Quake News | 23/02/01 | 16:51 GMT - Brisk

EFA11 has been kind enough to provide a mirror for the Doom 3 video running on a GeForce 3 and a MAC. Prepare for visuals that will blow you away. The file is zipped and includes the Windows Media Player video.

You can download it from
Here

Training Demos
Quake News | 23/02/01 | 14:21 GMT - Brisk

I have created a thorough collection of Quake 3 demos, demonstrating how to do the tricky jumps found on the following maps:

DM6, DM7, DM9, DM13, DM15, T2 and T4

All major jumps are covered, as well as some I have not seen anywhere else. All the demos were created in single player skirmish matches, and require the
1.27g point release or above.

You can download the 300kb zip file which contains 13 demos and the readme
Here

I hope they prove useful, interesting, or educational, and comments are very much welcome.
